This boy of ours was a long time coming and I picked him when he was a couple minutes old. I'm so grateful he found our program and what he adds to it. His strengths are the love he gives, the goofiness he brings to every move he makes and his loyalty. We, of course, love his build, which is heavier than average. This is perfect for those needing a larger, stronger dog. He is our largest male here on the Panhandle.

This girl was graciously sold to us at 6 months old when a fellow breeder heard what I was hunting for. We are so grateful, here at Panhandle, to Erika. May brings the friendliness of a labrador retriever to our Australian Shepherds. May never meets a stranger and her puppies prove to feel the same way about the world. This is especially helpful when training puppies to be comfortable and relaxed in crowds, with new noises and in new situations. Another of her strengths is how she raises her puppies, she is a snuggly, loving mama while always faithful to teach her puppies "no". Something they take home with them.

This girl is the first born so she'll be on our radar. It's so interesting how the firstborn remains a leader.
5 week update: True to form, this firstborn has been the first to 'talk' to us, greet us when we enter, walk and even try to climb out! She takes "no" well and is happy to please. She is chatty, and a little saucy, but the perfect amount to make her a favorite. She holds incredible eye contact and you could swear she knows what you're saying. Very intelligent. She is an ideal candidate for someone wanting a 'best friend'.

This boy is discerning. We love that in our pups. He will wait and watch before diving into trouble. He is more independent than the rest but that can also be that he prefers less action, which also means he doesn't beg to be entertained. He's very laid back, already a master of the chill.

This little girl is absolutely precious! She is small but already mighty. She is vocal but simple and easy to please, and loves to snuggle her mama!
5 week update: This girl is fabulously friendly, prefers the energy and rough and tumble of her littermates. She has the mildest temperament of the litter, a lovely snuggler. She is more on the discerning side, letting things process before jumping in.

This girl is drop dead gorgous! PLEASE, someone save me from myself or I will need to keep her! So far she is chill and happy to be held.
5 week update: This little thing is still quiet and peaceful, she makes lovely eye contact and is happy to be snuggling. She is content to let the others run the show and is already a good mimic. (think task training). This one is a thinker, very smart.

5 week update: Oh Chantrelle, it's as if she knows she's cute. She's the middle child, jumping in front of the camera and always has a funny next move. If you're looking for someone to brighten your day, that is what she lives for. She loves snuggling your face, getting positive feedback, "i love you's" and kisses. She good at giving them already! She is trusting, think relaxed around people, and constantly wagging her tail. We are pretty sure she knows she's loved!

This guy!! We thought we were done, but he was hiding out. I'm beyond grateful that he was safe while he took his sweet time. He's also the largest! He relishes being held. He is super chill and has a depth of spirit that has drawn me in. I am on the edge of my seat to see who this guy is as he develops.
5 week update: He is still an old soul, ask me for the video of him holding a conversation with us already! A bit of an independent thinker, he is happy to investigate and play or sleep on his own. Still content to snuggle all day, loves to be held. I'm hoping there is an older gentleman out there looking for his retirement buddy! (ie: Walt Longmire)

This little lady is my husbands girl. She is great at it! This girl is a cheerful greeter of everyone she meets. She has been through obedience and rally classes and is the star of the class each time, she couldn't be smarter. If you're looking for an athletic and intelligent dog with a solid off switch I highly recommend this mama.

We are thankful to have gotten to breed to Casita Mini's Bounty Hunter. This guy is a perfect best friend and is brining many strengths to our program. This guy is beloved. He was the largest when born and the last to come, a bit behind his littermates, so he was such a lovely surprise. He is already showing his 'asleep on the porch' personality. The other dogs crawl all over him and he is unbothered by it. He's going to be a top notch family dog.

How do we place puppies?
WELCOME! Thank you for checking out our program! The way a breeder selects, raises, and handles their dogs will be key to how your puppy assimilates into your life. We hope you find that we do everything we can to make the transition, and their lifetime with you, a joy. Additionally, we believe a great breeder is one who is open and honest about their practices, and who is excited about you being a part of what they are doing. Ask about the Panhandle Australian Shepherds Facebook group. We encourage you to chat with current owners and watch our program for as long as you'd like. As well, we match puppies with families with the help of outside temperament testing. This means each puppy is evaluated and can therefore be placed with the person(s) best suited to them! There is a deposit list and we start at the top to match puppies with clients but wait until 5 weeks so that we can include personality and temperament evaluations in that equation. Bear in mind, your puppy will have his or her own look and personality but that will be BASED ON HIS OR HER PARENTS. So, go check out our parent dogs, we're classic oversharers. Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and this website's home page are where it's at! :)

Puppies are priced at 5-6 weeks but before 'match' day. Prices do vary, but tend to stay within the $1450-$2850 range.

We do keep a contact list, if you are interested, but not ready to put down a deposit, we encourage you to stay up to date by following us on Instagram and or Facebook.
